Combining forms of American and Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, wrestling, Judo and submission grappling, Jiu Jitsu is a well rounded grappling martial art. Techniques include takedowns, submissions to the upper and lower halves of the body, joint locks, chokes and sweeps. "Gi" classes will be held in the “Gi” or kimono, which utilizes grips. "No Gi" classes do not allow for the use of grips and is more akin to wrestling with the use of submissions.
Muay Thai kickboxing, also known as “The Art of Eight Limbs,” is a stand-up striking sport that uses a combination of throwing punches, elbows, knees and kicks at your opponent. Muay Thai also emphasizes clinches, throws and sweeps.
Boxing is a combat sport with a specific focus of throwing punches while utilizing proper stance and footwork. Strikes are primarily aimed to focus on the head and upper half of the body.
You don’t have to be a fighter to get into fighting shape! Our boxing program is designed for people who want to learn real boxing techniques while getting in the best shape of their life.
We start our youth and teens Jiu Jitsu program at 6 years old and our Muay Thai program at 10 years old. We offer youth Jiu Jitsu classes in Gi and No Gi. In Muay Thai, we will focus on drilling concepts with combos, positional striking and kicking. We strive to make their time with us purposeful, disciplined, fun and safe with primary focuses on inclusivity, self-esteem, confidence, and team work. Our youth programs are special-needs friendly!
